Twixit privacy policy
Effective October 10, 2026
This policy covers Twixit for Mac (on the Mac App Store), its command line tool, and the Twixit plug-in for coding agents. Twixit is made by Webzler Solutions Inc. ("we").
The short version
Twixit doesn't collect, store or share any information about you. There is no account and no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your captures, projects and exported images stay on your Mac.
What stays on your Mac
- Your projects and images. The captures you add, your text and designs, and the screenshots you export are saved only where you choose on your Mac. We never receive them.
- Settings and folder permissions. Your preferences, the export folder each project remembers, and the folders you allow for automation are kept on your Mac by macOS.
- Twixit Free's limits. To count Twixit Free's one project and two exported screenshots, Twixit keeps a small record in your Mac's Keychain: identifiers of the free project and screenshots, and fingerprints of how they looked when exported (one-way hashes, not the images). It never leaves your Mac.
Apple services
- Purchases. Twixit Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we don't receive your payment details or Apple Account. Twixit checks whether you own Twixit Pro using Apple's StoreKit on your Mac.
- Translation. "Translate Missing Copy" uses Apple's Translation framework, which translates on your Mac. macOS may download language files from Apple the first time.
- Crash reports. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in macOS settings, Apple may share crash reports and usage statistics with us. They don't identify you, and you can turn this off in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
Automation and AI agents
Automation is off until you turn it on in Twixit › Settings › Automation. When it is on, Twixit runs a server that accepts connections only from your own Mac (127.0.0.1) with a private key, so other computers and websites can't reach it. Agents and the command line tool can use only the folders you allow, and you can remove them at any time.
An agent you connect, such as the AI agent in Xcode, receives what it asks Twixit for: project details, previews of your screenshots, and the guides for making them. The agent may send that to the AI service it uses, under that service's own terms and privacy policy. You choose the agent; Twixit sends nothing anywhere else.
Children
Twixit is a tool for app developers and isn't directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your choices
Because we hold no information about you, there's nothing to access, correct or delete on our side. To remove Twixit's data from your Mac, delete your projects and exports, and delete Twixit; macOS removes its settings and its Keychain record.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date above. Twixit will never start collecting information without saying so first.
